Caring for a diamond and pearl ring
Pearls need different care from diamonds. Their softer surfaces can scratch, and chemicals such as perfume, household cleaners, and hairspray can damage them. Discuss your daily routine with the designer before choosing pearls for a ring, and remove the piece for activities that expose it to impact, abrasion, or chemicals.
